Feb 01, Deanna Against Censorship rated it liked it Shelves: It is not my favorite of the series, but for fans of the series still worth reading.
It was also different in that it really was not erotic as the other stories. More hot sex would have warranted another star.
Maybe it was because of two stories in one book that the reader was not as aber to the characters as in earlier stories.
Still liked the characters and wanted to know more of how they were going to heal zmber rupture caused by the outing of the Else World beings. Apr 20, Sharon Simi Ehcstasy rated it really liked it. I was curious to see what anybody else thought of this, but for elizabbeth I believe this book has hit down under first. Well after reading the earlier books in the series, I was looking forward to reading Sevin.
It was a good trip down memory lane back into the world of the Satyr family, though it was a quick trip as the book ended before I felt it really began. Happy to see Luc get his happily ever after.
I love the backdrop that these books are written about and the totally different world of Europe I was curious to see what anybody else thought of this, but for once I believe this book has hit down under first. I love the backdrop that these books are written about and the totally different world of Europe in that era.

He does an about face and wants to claim and mate her but the Sons of Faunus have other plans for them both. Intrigue, sharing her with his brother Lucian, jealous humans.
I was very surprised how easily she submitted to Sevin and his brother after the brutality she suffered previously. Lucien – Lucian is transported to Elseworld and bec Sevin holds a grudge against her due to the harm her family caused his but it the attraction and being forced together on a Calling night changes things quickly.
Lucien – Lucian is transported to Elseworld and becomes a frozen statue for ten years, where the creatures there believe whoever wakes him will save their world. Lucian finds the one person he wants to touch him but she doesn’t want to want him. I felt the story needed more or may I just wanted more. Jul 09, E. These two brothers of the Roman Satyr clan are still unmated.
The monthly requirement for satiation is an essential requirement to the Satyr yet Lucien must be forced to participate due to his antipathy to touch after the years of torture he has endured.
Alexa has her own secrets and family complications but never imagines that the sensual pull she feels for Sevin will be acted on in such a carnal manner and result in such a life changing event. Another imaginative addition to the very erotic series about those sensual Satyr who populate regions of Italy. The tensions between humans and those remarkable beings from ElseWorld continue to rise and the Satyr must find a way to deal with the repercussions even as they continue to hold their very necessary carnal rites.
Temporary solutions are found for several of the issues facing the sensual quartet of brothers but there are more struggles to overcome, including a lack of an essential ingredient for their elixir. The series continues to unfold in a very creative and intriguing manner, hopefully there will be additional volumes beyond this second arc.
Jul 31, Jamie Mae rated it it was ok Shelves: I was disappointed in this book. After waiting for this installment of a series I adore I was expecting more. It wasn’t nearly as well thought out as her previous books or as erotic. Nothing new was offered and it was lacking several elements, not the least of which was the steamy love scenes, which have made the past books so compelling that I read them in a day. This one took me about a week, I read the 1st half then set it aside and felt no urgency to pick it back up and finish except it had I was disappointed in this book.
This one took me about a week, I read the 1st half then set it aside and felt no urgency to pick it back up and finish except it had to go back to the library. This book covered two of the brothers Sevin and Luc but both story’s felt rushed and ended abruptly.
Sevin’s story was ok it was an interesting idea but felt more like a first draft that needed to be fleshed out. His love interest Alexia was one dimensional, easily manipulated and just seemed to fall into place as Sevin’s mate because that is how the story needed to end not because that is were the story actually lead. Luc’s story I loved, it was interesting actually taking place in Elseworld introducing some of that sides culture, the sickness and the differences in our worlds but it was just a brief taste that was rushed to completion.
It ended suddenly leaving many aspects of their story unexplored and several questions unanswered. One the the things I especially liked the fact that Luc’s mate turned out to be a meanam. I would have enjoyed further exploration into their history and legend.
If this was the last of the Lord of Satyr books I’m going to be very disappointed but I’d rather this be the last one that to have another frustratingly disappointment. May 12, Sassafrass rated it liked it Shelves: I had stopped reading after book 3. I was disappointed that Lucien’s story got swept under the rug and was basically a total rush job.
I thought that after all he had been through, he definitely deserved better. The book did give me a renewed interest in the series though. So, I think I’ll go back and read the ones that I have skipped. May 18, Jess rated it liked it Shelves: I was a little disappointed in the addition of a “Luc” novella. Given his history in this series, I think a whole book could have been dedicated to him. I thought Sevin was o. Where does it go from here?
I just don’t think an Elseworld brothel will do the trick in providing a mutually peaceful resolution between humans and elseworlders. Perhaps I’m a pessimist in this regard. Jan 11, Spoiler Whore-Momoa rated it liked it Shelves: Not enough nitty gritty for me like in the first 3 books to this series. With Sevin and Lucien’s story they felt rushed. Enjoyable but wanted way more. Oct 29, Cathy Dunlop rated it liked it.
Both stories concerning Sevin and Lucien end far to abruptly. There are too many loose ends in fact it raises more questions than answers. Apr 09, Toni rated it really liked it Shelves: I can officially say that Ms. Sevin is panty melting hot, but she followed her pattern that she started with the first set of satyr men booksending a series quickly and abruptly, but in a good yet frustrating way. Sevin is the brother that was always left behind.
Many years ago, his parents died and he also lost his three brothers. Left alone at a very young age, he wondered and tries to understand his existence. Too young to understand his heritage, his coming of age I can officially say that Ms.
